The whole point of having a camera on manual settings is that you have to adapt to your situation around you, know the limitations of your camera and get the best results accordingly. What you do know if a firework is really bright and wide, its like a giant flash in the sky, everything underneath the firework is illuminated. So during this window there is a chance to catch the firework – you have to count it in, trust your camera settings and you can get good results.

This classes are based on walking around the city centre of Glasgow. What we have been doing is taking various routes through the city looking for unusual images and using the weather conditions to add to the style of your shots.
